Book Review -- House of Night

House of Night by P.C. and Kristin Cast is about a 16-year-old going through a transition to a new school and a new life. This novel is fun, imaginative, and offers a new twist on the vampire life. As an ongoing series, House of Night has published five books and will publish a sixth by the end of October. This series is suitable for teenagers and adults who have a thirst for suspense and drama.

Protagonist: Zoey Redbird, 16-years-old, Cherokee, hazel eyes, long, straight dark hair, high cheek bones and olive skin
Antagonists: The nuclear family, House of Night, Aphrodite
Setting: Tulsa Oklahoma
Plot: A normal teenager goes through everyday life with boyfriend issues, an unsupportive nuclear family, and trying to find herself. On top of all of this, Zoey has been marked with a crescent moon outline which means she will be changing into a fledgling and must move into the House of Night or suffer the fatal consequences.
House of Night is a must read for all of you vampire fans!
