Are you ready for a novel, that as teenagers you can relate to?  Well, this book is right for you...that is if you are changing into a vampire!

House of Night by P.C. and Kristin Cast is about a 16-year-old going through a transition to a new school and a new life.  This novel is fun, imaginative, and offers a new twist on the vampire life.  As an ongoing series, House of Night has published five books and will publish a sixth by the end of October.  This series is suitable for teenagers and adults who have a thirst for suspense and drama.

These novels are worth a bite into!   Here's a rundown of the first novel, Marked.
  • Protagonist:  Zoey Redbird, 16-years-old, Cherokee, hazel eyes, long, straight dark hair, high cheek bones and olive skin
  • Antagonists: The nuclear family, House of Night, Aphrodite
  • Setting: Tulsa Oklahoma
  • Plot: A normal teenager goes through everyday life with boyfriend issues, an unsupportive nuclear family, and trying to find herself.  On top of all of this, Zoey has been marked with a crescent moon outline which means she will be changing into a fledgling and must move into the House of Night or suffer the fatal consequences.

House of Night is a must read for all of you vampire fans!
